I believe I read that the Fine Arts Department estimated that it would take two months to cast a replacement image.

Accordingly to sources yes. But according to TAT they said on the 10 May but according to Foriegn Affair is in June. Hence they conflicting dates did not help. I hope some could assist on this matter. Otherwise it is difficult to plan a trip.

Ask mr Thaksin he is paying for it, that is how he managed to get the remains of the original one put in the TRT HQ.
