Samsung Galaxy Tab language conversion

Featured Replies

If I buy at Samsung Galaxy tab for a friend here (US) can it be converted to be just like one in Thailand with full Thai language menus and keyboard etc?

It is about 3000 baht cheaper ....

thanks

I bought a UK Tab. Keyboard is easy enough, you can use the Go Keyboard app for that. As for the menu's I couldn't find a way to change to a Thai version, but my wife can read English so no issue. A good chance for your friend to learn maybe?

I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 brought over from UK

took it to the Samsung shop and the guy set it up to have English or thai language or keyboard

in most computer and phone shops, they offer to change the hardware version from US version to Asian version. I had a Samsung Galaxy S2 mobile phone conversed for 400 Baht in BigC Pattaya, and was surprised to find all previous apps still functioning and existent , since had expected all my data to get lost during the conversion. Which, if it happened, would not have been a real threat as everything can be uploaded again using a good Wifi connection. Any Samsung Asian version hardware will also contain english in the language and keyboard options, so no big deal.
