Need Help and Advice for Moving

Featured Replies

Hello

I am moving up to Pai and have a few boxes and a chair. Nothing big. However, I am running into a problem as I am not sure how to get this stuff up there. I prefer not to rent a car and drive myself. I also do not know anyone with a car. That being said, I could really use some advice.

Thanks!!

use Chiang Mai Removals.

they are reliable, economical, supply cartons if you need them.

Use Thai Post. A few boxes and a chair are no problem. You can drop your stuff off at the Kamthieng branch and they will pack the chair for you. Very cheap. It's called Logispost.

Check out virtually every lampost where you live. It will have a notice saying รถกระบะรับจ้าง and then a phone number. If you ain't got too much, they will do Chiang Mai to Pai for about 2,000 Baht including loading and unloading. This is a one pick-up truck.

Good advice.

Post may be the cheapest but not sure of the cost to get the items to the post office here and home from the one in Pai

It would cost what 100 THB at most to get to a Post Office that has Logispost (Kamthieng, Mae Ping, etc.) by rot daeng. The P.O. in Pai would deliver. How much cheaper could it get? Hiring a moving company to drive to Pai with a few boxes and a chair? Come on....
