A positive tale of honesty

During a rather heavy night of drinking with friends around Chalong last week my (English) wife somehow parted company with her new iPhone. Not password protected.

Tried to call the phone the following day but it rang off - called DTAC who were excellent, tried to locate the phone using Find my iPhone. Assumed it was gone. Two days later a friend contacted me and told me a Thai lady had called him from the missing device. It was collected and she took some serious persuasion to accept a couple of thousand Bhat as a reward.

Nobody stood anything to gain anything here. Just a simple act of honesty and kindness you would be hard pressed to find in many other places in the world.
