TV super lagging

Featured Replies

Is anyone facing the same problem I'm facing. TV is lagging. Scrolling takes a second before the screen moves. Btw I'm using ipad2. Even typing the character does not move smoothly but like on batches.

No problems here.

Thaivisa Connect App for iOS7 released (version 2.2.21):

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/669560-thaivisa-connect-app-for-ios7-released/

This new version works for iOS7 and on older iOS versions as well.

Cheers

I am having this problem. Windows 8 Pro 64 bit, IE 10 desktop.

From the number of posts and TV changing hosts it would seem to be on the host/TV side.

The sign in and other functions have not been the same for some time and scripts take forever to run.

I have the same problem if I use Firefox Nightly current builds.

Where are you accessing from?

If from within Thailand, what ISP are you using? What DNS are you using?

My house in Chiang Mai. 3BB Premiere. DNS servers 110.164.252.222 and 223. I can get to the url, it is the page that loads slow. There was an answer from TV in the past that there was a problem with running scripts with the new host.

I have had a problem with TV pages and signing in since TV Forum Support posted that they had changed hosts.

I am using Windows 8, so maybe there is something different there. However, when I first started using Windows 8 there was not a problem.

3BB dns could be the issue. We have no issues with hosting. Could you try another browsee and set primaey dns to 8.8.8.8 and restart your system.

I have the same issues on Dtac 3G for the past 4-5 days. It's actually similar to what happened over a month ago when there were many complaints. It then got fixed eventually and now has returned with the same symptoms. When giving a like the page may load for up to a minute, same when you want to post a reply.

Problem is more obvious at night.

I will give Google DNS a try... again... and see. Google DNS servers give me more problems than 3BB's in general browsing, not specifically TV.

So will this also solve the issue of not being able to stay signed in or out and signing in anonymously?

I think it has been at least one month, probably more, that it was said that TV was waiting for a software update regarding the anonymous sign in option.

Thanks for looking into this.

Well, it didn't solve signing out, going back with the browser, and the page showing signed on, even though I am not. Perhaps that is a Windows 8/IE 10 issue?

Changing to Google DNS made it faster, seemingly..... but I could not download updates for Firefox Nightly. I changed the DNS servers back to 3BB servers and I was able to get the Nightly update.... and now TV is working faster with 3BB DNS server addresses.

I guess I will just play with it when I have time. Maybe something mysterious will happen and it will fix itself.

As I alluded to, I see no benefit for me using Google DNS servers. I get pretty good (relative to Thailand) service with my 3BB Premiere package and their DNS servers.

By the way, also around the time that I thought TV changed hosting servers, I also started having problems with TV app on my Samsung Note with Android on AIS 2100.

And one final note, TV web site is the only site I have this problem with.
