Multiple Entry visa to US for Thai Citizen

Featured Replies

I know that in the past it was customary for a Thai that was a first time visitor to get a 1 year visa. It was then easy to get a 10 year multiple entry visa. My wife needs her second visa. Is this still doable? I hate for her to go through this process each time. My parents are getting old and sometimes we may need to fly on the spur of the moment.

It's a bit of a toss up, I reckon. My now wife had two short-term visas then a 10-year one. After we got married that initial 10-year visa timed out and she got another one.

So, odds are probably decent that you wife'll get a 10-year visa since she's established already that she'll return to Thailand after a visit. Of course, you working or retired here is a major factor in the decision.
