Late-Night Street Racers Disrupt Pattaya Residents
The real issue of course is that 'if you already know about it'... so do the Police.... If its being reported on, the police definitely know about it... So the issue isn't the racers... its the Police, they just dont care to deal with it. Simple solution - Put up checkpoints on any stretch of road the try and race on. -

Traffic Camera Fine Wrong
If that's what you think, take it to court. You are not a retired Thai police officer so what has your old occupation got to do with anything? -

Is Thailand Value for money
Most notable, would be basic whole foods, which of course rolls over the restaurant's pricing, and some possessed food products. Wages not keeping up with the rate of inflation. As far as items, considerably more expensive, price increase beyond normal inflation, would have to be land #1, that we've noticed. Good for investors, but not young couples/families wanting to build equity. Unless you buy/build a house on a decent piece of land, it's not going to appreciate very much, if at all over 5-10 years. Our house builds, profits, were all due to the land appreciations. The house itself, just break even or small profit margin. Big ticket items, contracting a builder, per m², along with auto prices really haven't kept up with inflation, surprisingly. Healthcare is pretty steady, aside from govt allowing a foreigner charge at hospitals 🙄 -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
It would be best if you ask this in one of the tax threads and keep the tax topic out of this DTV thread. The DTV comes with no special tax provisions, which means that all the regular rules apply. Which may very well mean that you are (or will be) liable to pay tax in Thailand depending on your personal circumstances.- 1

Thai sex workers rally at Parliament for protection act
I thought that was already common in Thailand? Legalization would mean the authorities would have to keep a closer watch in order to get their tax money. -

V P Debate
Who did you vote for ? My ballot was marked Harris. But, as I said above and meant, I did not vote FOR her in the respect that I think she would make a good choice as president. My vote was focused on voting AGAINST Trump, and the best way to try to defeat him was to cast my vote in favor of Harris. -

Foul-Smelling Trail of Feces Found in Thai Parliament
What is being pixelated is NOT, technically, a substance. A substance is a pure form of matter, such as water and salt. I would say it's a MIXTURE. For example, Butternut Ice Cream is a MIXTURE, and not a substance. You see the difference? Butternut Ice Cream is a...... MIXTURE, and NOT a substance.- 1
