elzach
I made a miscalculation on my 60 days stay and I already got a flight ticket out of BKK (Nov 27) that is 2 days after my "admitted until" date (Nov 25) Is it correct that in this case the overstay penalty is 500 Baht? ie. 500 baht/day but starting on the second day after the stamp? Also any problems in the future? do they stamp your passport in any way as overstayed? Thanks! Edited September 30, 2013 by elzach
lopburi3
No that is not correct - overstay will be 1,000 baht for two days. Only if you leave on first overstay day is fine not collected. You will be stamped as overstay but it should not cause any problems.
