BIGJIMMY
Hi, would like to confirm that there's no problem applying for a settlement visa whilst the current Mrs E already has a 5 year visit visa, so both visas would overlap? Thanks Jimmy
Tony M
There should be no problem applying for a settlement visa while holding the visit visa. However if the settlement visa is issued, then the ECO may cancel the long term visit visa. If the settlement visa is refused, then the visit visa should remain valid unless the ECO can find reasons to cancel it.
