Question about future extension renewels based on marriage

Hi there - apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but i have been unable to find a definitive answer (if there is such a thing) so far, hence my first post.

I intend to apply for an extension based on marriage (under 50 years) in the coming months and have all relevant paperwork and finances in order, touch wood. My question is about future renewels.....Do consequent extensions need only adhere to the original criteria (400,000 in thai bank min) or if and almost certainly when the financial requirement goes up, will the new criteria for a extension have to be met? 400,000 i can just about handle, any more than that will prove difficult - certainly in the next few years.

What makes you think the financial requirements will go up any time soon?

There is a possibility that those with existing extensions would be grandfathered so the requirements would not increase for them it was to happen.

Just going by the fact that financial requirements for non o visas have gone up significantly in most places, but obviously hope your right and there will be no increase in the near future, and that due to successive renewels this will not affect me in years to come.

That was at the Hull consulate and no where else. And to me appears to be an error caused by embassy in London.
