Boxer Dogs in Thailand

Featured Replies

had two boxers, sisters, from the same nest. One died already when she was 8, the other, now 14 years, still lives. The one which died, was from it´s 2nd year in trouble with demodec. the other one is never sick. treated the demodec with injections/pills/shampoo etc. costs a fortune. The dog became less and less sensitive to treatment. The last 2 years of the dogs life were ok since i found a treatment for demodec which is cheap and effective: mix borax with 3% h2o2 (a small bottle of 100ml) until it is saturated. then add water to this mix until 1 ltr. Wash the dog and his surroundings with it. The borax kills the demodec. the h2o2 transfers the borax into the skin, where the demodec lays it´s eggs. repeat 2weekly.

why one is weak and the other has nothing, while always staying together, has probably todo with immune systems. Gotta say that i followed a vaccine program since they were young, and stopped it after the 3th year.

the old one which is still alive has ok sight, hearing is almost gone, but mobility is now at 80%. must be the oldest boxer in Thailand :-)
