AFAIK the costs are not high, the costly expense here will probably be the lawyer who will handle it for you, to make sure it's done properly. I don't believe a foreginer will be able to register it as a private person, since a foreigner cannot be a jusristic person in Thailand. Anyone with better information is welcome to correct me.
