PATTAYA:--A 20 year old Cambodian woman is currently fighting for her life in Hospital following a vicious attack by a fellow Cambodian on Jomtien Second Road in the early hours of Thursday.

The victim, Miss Dar, was rushed to Hospital leaving her Sister-in-Law, Mrs. Tia aged 36, at the scene to explain what occurred.

She revealed that a Cambodian construction worker known as Mr. Bow aged 21, had been fired some months ago after he was caught stealing from his colleagues on numerous occasions. On Thursday Morning he arrived at the construction site where Miss Dar was living, and told her that her Husband had told him to collect her and take her to him. She believed the story and walked away with him. At a secluded area, Mr. Bow allegedly attacked Miss Dar and stole 9,000 Baht in cash and her mobile phone and then attempted to sexually assault her and proceeded to kick and punch her several times after she resisted.
