SATTAHIP:--A Pattaya recycling center owner was injured when he apparently fell asleep before crashing his car into a ditch in Sattahip.

Surapol Subcharoen, 38, was found pinned inside his smashed Toyota Camry at the 170-kilometer marker in front of navy housing on Sukhumvit Road around 3:30 a.m. Oct. 2.

Rescuers had to use “jaws of life” to cut Surapol out of the car. He was taken to Queen Sirikit Naval Medical Center for treatment.
