According to the government there wont be any floods in Bangkok this year ........ just wonder where did I read that comment ....

Sooo this major airport shoud not be prepared for such an eventuality even if it is not imminent?

It sound great 36 meter wide dikes but that count is how are thy build. A fresh dike can easily start 'walking' if the water pressure get high. Are the new dikes cover with grass ? Here i see some waterworks covert with concrete. Stupid because the water can take away the earth and make the concrete plate break and fall
