yes, the xbox will work.

most of the games I see for sale here are copies, so wont work on my machine as its not chipped.

I just got GTA5 delivered from Play Asia via FedEx - it was not cheap and had 500b import tax - it was region free though so will play on any machine - there is also a chart on the play asia site showing what games will play on what machines (which regions).
