Plan for huge rally against Thai amnesty bill

fab 4 post # 61 Oh they had a plan all right, quite similar to the PTP one, but they still didn't get voted in

This is indeed true mainly due to the fact that the price offered per vote from the P.T.P. was extremely generous, however they didn't get voted in either

They ( the P.T.P.). only achieved a 48% share of the vote not an overall mandate from the electorate.

This led to the necessity of forming a coalition administration with parties induced by incentives on both a political basis and a financial basis.

Never heard about the "blind" test, and I can't recall the Dems having a plan.

But ok, if one day they actually come with a plan (for the country and the people, not another barking plan) then it would be great.

But I think their mind is stuck in the barking mode. Their strategy is just to shout at PT, nothing more. Nothing constructive.

You suggest they change to " fill the pockets on the back of our voters and keep making empty promises until the coffers are empty " mode, similar to your idiots idols ?

The use of the word "idiots" will not help you convince anyone. You better stay cool and civilized.

In any case the "idiots", as you call the PT politicians, outsmart your own idols. Each time...

Not bad for "idiots" I guess. :)

Points in which they outsmart the Democrats

_ Making up empty promises

_ Being more corrupt

_ Filling their own pockets

_ Emptying the state coffers with the rice pledging

_ Having their supporters burning down shopping malls

_ Making up " white" dam_n big  lies

_ Having a fugitive convicted criminal as their leader

I guess you're right, they outsmart the Democrats in many fields Posted Image

The most important is that they win election after election.

Smart corrupt winners who have a vision for the country against outsmarted corrupt losers who can't achieve anything.

Now we know why PT attracts more vote :)

personally I still think thaksin should be democratically removed and not through a coup.

Go and jump in your time machine, and stop the coup.

Given you probably can't do that, deal with it. It happened. Move on.

What I meant is that abhisit should go by the law.

Thaksin and his supporters dealt with it and moved on, they won a general election after the coup, got forced out, and won the next general election.

So why do they keep bringing up the coup? They're winning elections, but they haven't moved on.

What has Abhisit got to do with removing Thaksin through a coup? Did he gave anything to do with the last coup, or is he calling for one now (not that Thaksin could be removed now given he isn't PM)?

Unfortunately the Dems and the yellows have the biggest difficulties to move on...

With or without time machine they would not mind to see another coup.

They also do not need a time machine to hold the country backwards with their old guard and antique ideas.

In talking about winning elections it seems to have been forgotten that there were 2 previous by elections before the BKK and Don Muang elections.

Both were won by the Dems.

So that make 4 including 3 by elections and a mayoral election they have won since the general election.

It must also be noted that the Don Muang by election was won by the Dems with a swing away from PT of over 12% and that Yinglucks sister only won her safe seat with a reduced majority, her driver got more votes in the general election than she got in the by election.

As for the amnesty bill ; I see that the red hero leader Weng has said that the reds are against the new amendments and he was quoted as saying that :

The Govt must do what the reds want 'or else'.

Don't worry, that does not change anything at the national level.

PT will win the next election again, no worries.

:)

Of course, if PT could kick out the Dems from Bangkok it would be great news for many people (not on this forum, of course).

But that may be a bit to much to ask (especially from the yellow Bangkok electorate).

:)
