PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Sunday Police and Social Welfare Officials made their way to a constructors campsite in North Pattaya following reports of a suspected abandonment of a 1 year old child.

At the scene in Soi 12 off the Naklua Road, residents of the campsite handed-over the child whose mother had disappeared. She was named as Khun Bungon aged 25 who had recently been fired from her job at the construction site but was still living there while she decided what to do next.

She had split from her Husband and father of the child 1 week before after meeting a new man who initially took her away from the campsite for 2 nights. Others at the site heard the screams of her child who had been left alone with no food or water.

Such a lovely child. I pray she is adopted by a good family and grows up happily.

How can anyone do this? such a lovely child.

The story implies that no-one is looking for the father of the child to ask him if he is interested in looking after his son...

He is probably still living in the campsite, but don´t care about the child.

No mention of the nationality so can be assumed that is not just a Burmese camp type of story ?
