Whatever you do, don't go to The Royal Kitchen at the top of the Royal Paradise Hotel in Patong. I found it on the web and tried it. It claims to be the best Chinese in Phuket, so I was very disappointed when it turned out to be a decrepit, over-priced tourist joint. Some of the dishes don't even look Chinese.
