Good on you, lucky man!

Every edible thing I grow, is taken ( stolen?) by my neighbors and relatives, usually just before it is ripe!

How do you do it?

Guard dogs?

Electric fences?

Good on you!

I am more than just a little jealous!

Good neighbours I suppose.

Although my landlady, has first choice on the mangoes.

Her tree,so thats fair enough.

Thanks for the replies.

The loofahs is experimental.

They are now showing fruit.

I intend growing them past eating stage, then dry them for the bathroom product,Loofah.

A hit and miss idea, but Google says it can be achieved.

A follow up report on success or failure, will be posted.

Spaghetti next then, apparently much harder to grow :)

Easy to grow,the wheat.

Not so easy to process.

Immigration etc are only "not interested" until you affect someone else's ability to make money or someone seeks ill-will in your direction - then you are an easy target.

Most of my neighbors are rice paddy farmers,(owners).

I don't offend anyone.

Cheap produce is available, when in season.

The locals are quite interested in the diversity of crop.

All round win win.

Immigration are not a concern.

Not really----- Plant the spaghetti next to a Kebab stick and it will grow while curling round it.

No joking---- Ive tried it and it works----------Dougal

Not quite on Topic, but where did you get the buffalo excrement?

I buy Buffalo and cow manure, from a local farmer.

Believe it or not there is now a waiting list.

I can't get my next lot until next month,as it is dried before it is sold.

The locals are catching on fast, about the benefits of good manure.

Can you plant it in the packet.

Or should the plastic wrapping be removed.

Should I soak the spaghetti first, before planting, just curious.

How many Kilo of spaghetti per vine, does it require sun or shade?

Over to you.

May I ask you how much you're paying for buffalo manure?

Give also to the local temple....and show your self doing that in Buddha days.. Can be useful to have the temple support in case of problems with immigration...or a anybody in the village. Congrats!
