METAL POSTS TO BUILD A RACK

Featured Replies

HI TO ALL,

I AM PARTICIPATING IN BAZAARS VERY FREQUENTLY SELLING HANDBAGS AND I NEED A RACK/S TO HANG THEM ON IT.

I HAVE BEEN BUYING RACKS FROM ALL DIFFERENT STORES LIKE BIG C, MACRO, AND RECENTLY A MUCH BETTER QUALITY AT SPECIALIZED LOCAL STORES.

THEY ALWAYS EITHER FALL APART OR VERY DIFFICULT TO ENSEMBLE.

NOW I DECIDED TO MAKE SOMETHING VERY SIMPLE.

I WOULD NEED A FEW METAL POSTS TO MAKE IT.

MY QUESTION IS: DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A WORKSHOP WHO COULD SELL ME A FEW SINGLE METAL POSTS?

MAYBE AN AREA WHERE I COULD LOOK AROUND?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP

BLOSSOM

What do you mean by metal posts. Steel, aluminium, Rhs, chs, bar, round bar ?

Just go to a local metal merchant selling what you want. Look out for the dodgy alkie husband who will give you farang price to pay for his whiskey.

The smaller places usually buy from the better wholesalers who will still sell you just a few posts or lengths and cut it for you. They will usually jave welders and fabricators on their staff. Take a drawing along and say what you want.

As said the better looking wholesalers should be better than the local grotty shop unless you know them. ANd raw material cheaper.

Posting in all capitals or in all bold, and using large or unusual fonts and colors is bad netiquette. OP, would you like to try again without using all caps, this includes the use of all caps in the topic title as well.
