Just thought i would update the status in Korat

Looked at property within 1 - 2 km of Mall & hospital (city centre) ect a year ago in some new Moo Baans

Ok didnt purchase then but have just done so

3 brm / 3 bth double story for 3 min - All the single story 3br / 2bth sold 2.1 mln - 2.4 sold

Noticed land price per Talang Wah (4m2) on the (Yard) around house went from 29000 to 35000 = up 6000 bht or app 20 perc

And they say it will keep rising

I tried to explain to developer that Thailand have many so must come down soon

So whats the go in other areas

OH & not in a low lying area of the Muang

I you think they must come down, why did you purchase, surely would be best to wait...or do you really believe they will keep increasing

Meanwhile, back in the real world, you could have bought land for at least 25-30% cheaper outside of a moo baan.

Lets assume, using your figures, 29k per tw, average cookie cutter house on say 60 t/w, thats us at about 1.8 million, gawd knows what sort of quality house you will get for 3 million - 1.8 = 1.2 million, that doesnt even factor in the developers profit.

Head to Pak Tong Chai, the land is cheaper.
