Wacky Police Advice

Featured Replies

BEIJING – The Beijing Police Department posted a strange series of messages on China’s Twitter-like service, Weibo, Tuesday entitled “Women Drivers Please Take Care to Avoid These Mistakes.”

The blog is a list of sexually discriminatory so-called “habits” of female drivers to be avoided.

Such as?

“Some women drivers lack a sense of direction and while driving a car they often hesitate and can’t decide which road to take,” said one post from the police. “Once they realize their mistake, they cause accidents by spinning the steering wheel in a panic.”

Or:

"Women drivers when driving alone," the post later noted, “are not able to find the way to their destination, even if they’ve been there many times.”

Ouch!

Keeping this Thai related, any of you have GF's or wives like this?

Main issue for my wife was driving the car like she rides a motorbike, never looking right at a junction, just go left regardless of others, in fact drive anyway you want regardless of others, its up to them to avoid her....lol....

The other crazy aspect of Thailand, you can take a test in an auto, get your licence and drive anything you please ...SCARY!

I have learnt not to talk to my wife while she is driving as she cannot concentrate on what she is doing and chat at the same time, very dangerous and we get lost a lot. Seems thai people cannot succesfully do more than one thing at a time, multi-tasking is completely out of the question with them.
