Basil B Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Following reports of the Beach being eroded away by the rain and floods and a local news paper quoted: ...are eating away at Pattaya’s main attraction–the beach. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/679059-pattaya-beach-disappearing/ Who actually comes to Pattaya for the Beach?
thaibeachlovers Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 If the beach disappeared, the Bkk day trippers might stop coming- all good.
cookie monster Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Well not have to see Russians in speedos 1
wwex Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I dont come just for the beach but if it wasnt here I would go elsewhere, I prefer to live by the sea, I only wish it was cleaner so I could swim in it. if its just boys or girls you are after may as well go straight to Issan where its cheaper 1
cookie monster Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I did not say i come to Pattaya for boys or girls.
pitchag Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I did not say i come to Pattaya for boys or girls. What about those buxom big bummed Russian women with their bellies hanging over the bikini bottom, reminded me of those old seaside naughty post cards we used to get in England until political correctness killed them off
cookie monster Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Once upon a time there were was many beautiful young Russian ladies but that was a long time ago. A better new topic would be were all the beautiful Russians ladies have gone. 1
BruceSmith Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I did not say i come to Pattaya for boys or girls. Could you be here for the wildlife? Soi dogs etc... 1
cookie monster Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 What i am saying is there more to reasons for me to come to pattaya than just the Thai ladies.
wellred Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 ^^ such as? I for one would like to know. And don't say Louis Tussauds. 555 The only half decent attractions I've managed to find near Pattaya are the Hell Garden over in Bang Sean and The tiger zoo in Sri Racha.

Popular Post KittenKong Posted November 4, 2013 Popular Post Posted November 4, 2013 I dont live in Pattaya for the beach but I doubt that I would live here if it was inland. I dont swim in the sea but I like my sea view and I like being able to stroll along the seafront from my condo on foot. I suspect that if Pattaya was inland then many tourists would also choose to go elsewhere, even if they never swim in the sea here either. I also like the proximity to the airport and the cheap and efficient local transport in town, and of course the wide selection of restaurants etc. Without all that and the view I would probably be living in Chiang Mai instead, though probably not all year. 3

Pattaya28 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 If the beach is completely eroded, the jet-ski scammers will have to relocate. Therefore surely the mayor will address the beach erosion. 1
Basil B Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 I posted this poll in jest and was going to say if anyone wanted a decent beach they could take a cheap ferry ride to the big island (Koh Larn), at the time I posted this poll I had no idea of the tragic event that that were to unfold yesterday. Just another sad day for Pattaya when greed comes before safety. RIP to those who perished yesterday.
