If i booked a flight from Phuket to KL to do a visa run. Realistically how much time do I need once I land to enter and exit Malaysian Immigration?

That depends a lot on what airline you are using. If it is AirAsia or other low cost carrier they use the old airport terminal (LCCT) and immigration is fast. Last time I was there it took less than 30 minutes to enter and exit immigration with boarding pass in hand. The new terminal serves all the big international airlines and immigration lines are longer.

    agree and from what i see Malaysia is the only country u don't even need to fill out an arrival/ departure card, Just get a stamp in and out.

    The only thing with air aisa is you do a fair amount of walking to an from the arrival /departure halls

    Just did it and you leave at 8 am and get back to Phuket at 1 pm. Plenty of time to clear immigration, grab a bite, then get back into the departure hall for some duty free shopping.
