Getting Certified.

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for information on how to get certified to teach english in Chiang Mai. I don't currently hold a degree, but I have previous teaching experience (teaching english) and can speak and understand a fair bit of thai (not fluent, but I can get my point across most of the time).

what do I need to do, and what are the road blocks?

Do a search on here as there's a fair bit of info.

T&T and Chiang Mai Uni both run courses there, CMU is relatively need though.

Good luck and all the best and remember you shouldn't really use Thai in the classroom.

Another, and relatively new, TEFL provider in Chiang Mai is SEE - Siam Educational Experience who run a Ministry of Education accredited 4 week 120 hour TEFL course.

I'll send you a link to their website - don't think I'm allowed to put URLs on this board.
