New triple entry visa

Featured Replies

Good morning,

A quick couple of questions, my tourist visa runs out on 25th of December and I'd need to get another triple entry. What countries can I do this in? I was going to return to the uk and do it. Also how many tourist visas can one have in ones passport? I'm 26 and a British national! I current have two tourist visas in my new passport. The next would be my third!

thanks

Dan

You will not get another triple entry TV in any of the nearby countries.

Laos may be the best place to go for another visa but the best you will be given is a double entry and even that may be refused leaving a single entry TV as the only option

I wasn't interested in any countries close by, Hong Kong for example somewhere like this?

Definitely not HK! The nearest place would be Bali and I believe they will want to see a ticket out of Thailand.

Bali is the closest for a 3 entry. One ticket out of Thailand at any time during the 6 months visa is valid for.

There is no limit as to how many you can have in your passport. Just back to back at same place near here.

I am unsure where to go to get this, Bali, anywhere else? Maybe just go to the uk and do it? I was just using Hong Kong as an example that I don't mind flying anywhere really. What's he reason they are hard to obtaining Asia?

Ok they only question if it's back to back! I mean mine are fairly back to back!

They are not back to back at a nearby embassy or consulate is what is important.

The reason for restricting tourist visa availability in Asia is because some seek to use TV's as a means of remaining in the country long term which in turn raises suspicions of illegal working.

There are more appropriate visas which permit long stay and , for example an ED visa might be obtained for less than the cost of a return flight to the UKsmile.png

Bali Indonesia. There is a honorary Thai consulate in Denpasar. Do a search on this forum for info about getting a visa there. Bali is well known as a holiday location.

Just because they are near here and some because you are applying outside your home country.

So having back to back tourist visas but both obtained in the uk is fine? They only question it if you just say for example pop to Laos and back all the time?

Yes just going to Laos for back to back visas will be a problem.
