If you are getting a £ sign when you press Shift + 3, it means that you are using a UK keyboard layout on a US/Thai keyboard. A U.K. physical keyboard has one more key than a physical US keyboard, as you have just found out. With a U,K keyboard there is a dedicated # key. You'll need to switch back to the US keyboard layout to select Shift + 3. -

No. The Israelites have lived in Israel since the beginning of recorded history. Repeated expansionism and colonialism by arabs, asians, north africans and europeans, resulted in regular displacements of the israelites from their homeland. Perhaps, if humans were not so greedy and violent, things would be different.
