Where to get Non-Thai passport certified in Pattaya for Australian Visa Application?

Featured Replies

I am new to this forum, but any one can help me on this? Appreciate you're feedback

sooooo ...where is your passport from? Why does it need to be "certified"? personally never heard of such a thing ....but that doesn't mean much.

AND if there is such a thing as a "certified" passport I would suspect that you would have to go to your embassy to get such done....good luck ...maybe next time you can post more information ..."in detail"

I am supposed to say " Where to get a copy of Non-Thai passport certified for Australian Visa Application". I missed the word copy. I am looking for one who can certify the copy as certified true copy of the original.

AFAIK Thailand doesn't have a public notary, the certified copy would have to be at the Australian consulate or Embassy. Also note Thailand is not a party of the Hague convention governing legalization of documents in another country.

If a Thai lawyer is accepted as a notary by Australian immigration, I've used Werachon (http://thaisolicitor.com/) in the past. He'll stamp a lot of official looking stamps on it.

EDIT: if wikipedia is anything to go by, should actually be easy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certified_copy#In_Australia
