Where is the respect? For the old monk?

So we are having a great holiday called Low Katong (soory for misspelling) and while Phuket is keeping it low key at most places the reds and democrats are holding their protests.

Just zapping the channels I see the democrats holding speeches and the red shirts having a rock concert.

So thank you for showing us the way respect is earned in this country!

It's Loy Krathong. We have been launching our Loy at Karon lagoon for as long as I can remember. We are just back and I can report that i have never seen it so busy. Many more market stalls than usual. Coach tours dropping off people. Packed. Mind you it was a very fine evening, no clouds, full moon shining bright. Quite a change from the rainy evening these last few Loy Krathongs.

Just came back. Sapan Hin had some concerts and the usual market.

Huge traffic towards Sapan Hin when I left the place.

I guess they deserve their share of fun as well. Maybe 30-40% of the visitors at the market were Burmese.

The market itself is not worth of visiting.

OP i'm not quite sure what you are trying to say?

Just because you are on holiday doesn't mean Thai Politics are postponed or banned to acommodate you,and your miserable two weeks a year!
