November 17, 201312 yr So we are having a great holiday called Low Katong (soory for misspelling) and while Phuket is keeping it low key at most places the reds and democrats are holding their protests. Just zapping the channels I see the democrats holding speeches and the red shirts having a rock concert. So thank you for showing us the way respect is earned in this country!
November 17, 201312 yr It's Loy Krathong. We have been launching our Loy at Karon lagoon for as long as I can remember. We are just back and I can report that i have never seen it so busy. Many more market stalls than usual. Coach tours dropping off people. Packed. Mind you it was a very fine evening, no clouds, full moon shining bright. Quite a change from the rainy evening these last few Loy Krathongs.
