how to deal with all this political soap opera?

Featured Replies

I just saw a post where someone has asked whether or not to bother about the current political situation in Thailand. Ignoring the matter is out of question for me, even though I have a hard time to follow all happenings. It gets confusing and I would not dare to take sides as all are biased in their own ways and I'm not exactly fond of politicians in general, so lets not go down that read.

With the ongoing anti-government protests (and anti anti-government protests to come), how do those of you who have been in Thailand during the riots in 2010 deal with the current situation? Is it better than/same as/worse than last time? What is still to come and what scenarios are realistic to happen? Regardless of the living conditions for farungs, in case something bad happens, it will affect all of us, but what is "something bad" and how likely can it happen? Thoughts?
