Is there a reluctance to do business with Thai companies or at least, companies based in Thailand with other countries?

Is this because of Thailand's continual growing infrastructure and / or the ever present and unspoken "caste system" of Asia and / or something else.

I get the impression, that there is an embedded bias in Asia Pac society that lowers the rank and therefore "potential business Worth" of Thai companies, that's acting as an unseen force against startups.  You could call it a pecking order.  Where did it come from, and can you help me define it?

Perhaps those in the Import and Export market could define it quite well?

This comes back partly to marketing, which has to tackle this issue of perception straight away and is so so so ever important.

I wish there were a really good source on business in Thailand that really delved into these issues where others fear to tread.

All I want to know, is the reality of the situation without any clouding.

Cheers.
