Looking For Good Thai Chefs

Asking for assistence from all you pro foodies!!

I currently moved to Samui as a chef a couple of months ago from HK and I'm looking for young motivated Thai chefs for my new property. As this is my first time in Thailand I'm at a bit of a loss and don't know where to search.

I'm looking to fill positions from Executive Sous to Cook Helpers who have good skills and speak good English.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Cheers

I am working now 12 years as a Chef in Thailand, I guess I have some experience.

Be prepared to pay about 30K Baht minimum.

Or you take a young talented cook and build him up by your self.

Do you need him for Thaifood or for intern. cuisine?

I could ask a friend in BKK who runs a cooking school for Thai cooks that want to go to another country for improving their skills.

Good luck!

Dear Gerd

A word in your friends ear would be sweet. Idealy I would love young talent which can learn and grow. A bit of prior experience would be a benifit and Thai and International cooking knowledge would be a preference as I would like a flexible team.

As I mentioned the resort is in Samui; although there could be plenty oppertunites for individuals who excel to move on to other countries as I have a decent traveling background and a handful of contacts.

Cheers for the feedback!!
