Visiting BKK for a couple of days

Featured Replies

I will be traveling to Bangkok for 2 days (Nov 25-27) with a friend. We are a couple of American guys looking to do some sightseeing as well as enjoying some of the nightlife there. This is my friend's first trip to Asia. I have lived in Beijing and Hong Kong before and have traveled to Thailand but not recently. While I lived in China I would frequently show friends, friends of friends or even total strangers around as I lived there for 3 years. It was fun for me and nice to meet new people. I was hoping someone might be willing to do the same in Bangkok for us. Not necessarily looking for a tour guide, but someone who is familiar with Bangkok and would be up for hanging out with some new people passing through. Maybe hit up some of the nightlife. At the very least it would be great to get some recommendations on 'must not miss' things to do while in town ranging from very touristy to the more obscure. Thanks in advance for any assistance!
