Ulysses G.
A friend in the U.S. asked me to send him some generic diabetes drugs that he has a prescription for. I asked my local drug store about buying a fairly large quantity (1,000 tablets) for export and she said to be "careful". Is there anything illegal about doing this? Sceptict11
Most countries require Importers/Exporters of drugs to be licensed. I expect the medication you are seeking to export will be prescription only in the USA and therefore illegal to import. A prescription written in the US has no validity in Thailand and certainly would not allow the movement of large quantities of drugs across borders . Sheryl
It would indeed be prescrioptio only in the US. And I think you need an export license yourself to be sending it.

It does not look like a good idea to send it.
SailingHome
Well, friend can IMPORT a 3 month supply under US law last I read. Not sure about the sender. Odds are by the time you buy and ship he can get them online from India for around the same price.
