SantiSuk
Our garden installation company built a pond and waterfall which was very nice. My wife stuck some fish in it and amazingly they haven't died yet (3 months) despite the fact the water is a deep green/brown. I need to retrofit a pond filtration and pump system. I'm not going try to retrofit a filtration system in to the existing pump and fountain system - it's far too heavy duty and fast flow for any of the filtration tanks I have seen on the market. So I aim to install a separate system just for filtration, probably with a gravity filter tank on the pond side. I'm not trying to save money so by all means do expose your DIY skills using plastic rubbish bins and bits of sponge for the benefit of others ( ). But can anyone please recommend a specialist retailer in Bangkok that supplies submersible pumps, filters and hoses for domestic fish ponds - I prefer a specialist shop to a clueless watsadu shed. Yes I know I can get complete packages sent from the UK or US and can but bits on e-bay, but prefer to have someone to talk to if there is any follow up requirements or routine maintenance materials involved. A 6 year old Thaivisa thread suggested Chatuchak market and a shop on the 5th floor of Seri Centre on Tha Srinakarin. Are these still relevant and any other recommendations? Crossy
Chatuchak is still the fish pond Mecca in BKK.

IIRC it's along Kamphaeng Phet road opposite the Children's Museum, hopefully someone will confirm.
Langsuan Man
A little pricey but a good place to start: http://swimmingpoolsthailand.com/en/147-fish-pond-filter-systems
draftvader
Yep, Chatuchak. More to the point, head to JJ Mall. When outside the main entrance you should head down the left side. The fish and aquarium stuff is down there.
