Gps Waypoint Database?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a good source for waypoints or any other Thailand related GPS stuff.

If anyone has any Thai GPS files I'd sure like to have a copy.

Thank you

You can buy the thinknet map magic cd for 300 baht at many bookstores. good zoomable maps of thailand and bangkok and the lat and long is displayed for where you cursor is.

the gps software for thailand is way overpriced at the moment.

These guys in Phuket have a Garmin database that sounds pretty accurate. They say they can build maps of other parts of Thailand as well.

I really think it's a shame there isn't a better map "commons" for gps. There are ways to build your own maps, I tried and failed once...should give it another shot. Google for it if you want to find out info. Road data from USGS surveys is 30 years old, but some information is readily available.
