krabi transfer from airport

Featured Replies

Hi,

I will be going to krabi in a couple of days.

Could anybody let me know about transfers from airport to hotel?

I was offered an 800 baht cost transfer. but i would think one can get a taxi for much less.

Am i right?

thanks for info

Hi blossombkk,

2 choices : - shuttle bus 150 b (krabi town - aonang) and -taxi which wouldbe about 600b(high season price) to get to Aonang or 300b to Krabi town

800b return to Ao Nang would be good, otherwise it's too much. You can get a car for 600b from the airport.

You won't get 5 people into the car I took for 600b.. Maybe 800 was for a van.

I took the bus from Ao Nang to Krabi Airport. For 150 baht it was all that I needed and it worked fine. I also took the bus from Phuket airport to the Phuket Town bus station. Taxis are nice and I understand the convenience if you have a lot of luggage or fellow passengers. I was by myself with just a simple carry on. Price wise it was fine and the bus really doesn't take much longer than going by taxi.

Guys Sorry to revive an old thread. I will be holidaying later in the year in Krabi with family flying over from the UK. To get to Ao Nang by Taxi is it better to pre book or just jump in a Taxi at the airport? I do not need a van as people are flying in in dribs and drabs and a Bus is a big NO.

Thanks in advance for the advice

No need to book there are plenty there and just 600 baht

The 2 taxis we went in were really nice modern cars too.
