Any I've taken have loved Clarke Quay and Boat Quay at night. Get there at dusk, take the boat trip up and down the river. Tons of restaurants, how impressed they are will I guess depend on what they are used to.

Some nice restaurants on the promenade at One Fulerton across the water from Marina Bay Sands. http://thefullertonheritage.com/promotions-events/venues/one-fullerton

The fremantle fish market at Clarke quay has good seafood at reasonable prices (for Singapore). http://www.fremantleseafoodmarket.com.sg/

Ku De Ta is an upmarket destination, not eaten there but a great place for drinks http://www.marinabaysands.com/singapore-restaurants/fine-dining/ku-de-ta/

Divine wine bar is well worth a visit just to see the wine angle at work, its located in one of the coolest looking building is Singapore www.divinewinesingapore.com

The above suggestions should impress

Yeah, bum boat ride is always a winner.

Take her to the Goldern Mile for eating.

Cable car to Sentosa.

Fort Canning if she is interested in the Battle Box?

Show her how the other half live at the temple of doom. :)

What's your GF like? Educated background or not so much? What class is she? Has she ever traveled outside Thailand? Specifically to Singapore? How old is she?

I've had Thai GFs who simply wouldn't admit to being impressed by places like Singapore.

My advice in any case would be to not worry about or expect or mention anything that she could interpret as comparing Thailand unfavorably with Singapore.

Just enjoy the time with her. If she's anything like most Thais, she will pretend not to be impressed at all.

Having said all that, Thais tend to like to focus on things abroad that they can't get at home easily. So, things like good beef, variety of good beer, wine and liquor, many clothing brands, many jewelry brands, many ethnic group foods unavailable in Thailand, ect.

Safest bet would typically be shopping especially for items not available in Thailand (for FACE value).
