Videos now circulating social media with a woman yelling to people to tell them to change from black shirts to red shirts. Shooting is then heard shortly afterwards.

The link I have right now is to a Facebook video - not sure that's allowed on here.

Obviously this now puts the real identity of those committing acts of violence today into question.

Erm.. I posted that half an hour ago with the link.

You need to brush up on your Thai language skills. The woman is clearly shouting change your red shirts for black shirts. She is part of the reds if you had any sense of perception of what is plain to see.

Just seen a video on youtube of a bunch of reds being escorted by police in riot gear. The reds were clearly waving huge sticks and metal bars.... So there it is, the police are actually assisting the violence against the students.

its BS if you dont post the link...please post the link or are you just a johnny know nothing wind up merchant

Right. Just wanted to get the word out there. I agree with your conclusion - she is clearly a red.

When we see Asoke filled to capacity (far more than the 65k capacity of the stadium) just last Friday, and higher numbers of anti-gov't protesters than reds daily ... I do not even worry about the reds getting paid to attend. The reality of the situation is clear ... 8-12k a day of reds for over a month in BKK. Over 100k anti-govt protesters .....

even the ugliness today at the stadium with the gunfire coming from the reds .....and Jatuporn's threats .. and (sadly) simple RU students stood up to them.

Before people start claiming -- but the anti-gov't protesters are wealthy elites .. RU is a very working class Uni. The tuition is low enough that I could pay a semester with what I spend on a night out, and I am frugal! (the last time I looked it was about 25 baht a semester hour!) The website is down now or I would give the exact numbers..

Some get a few baht others get free meals

So who gets the free meals? The ones in the stands! Surely they are seat by priority. They do everything else by numbers!

AFAIK FB links are allowed as there are no copyright issues. That being said they have only the validity that people assign to the source. Posted within minutes is probably 100% valid ... 8 hours later? plenty of time to be messed around with.

I watched the video and there is no mention of anyone told to change shirts.

If you disagree, cite the time it is said and I will have another listen.

YOU ANTI THAKSIN supporters have to admit now that the agressors are the demonstrators YOU cant blame the red shirts for this since its clear they were the ones attacked and if it turns out they shot the kid dead then it was obviosuly in self defense while being attacked by a MOB. there is also a video just posted of these so called peaceful protesters attacking a taxi and the driver

figured I would post the video to show who the aggressors are

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-chbv56ZvPE#t=0

Come on Yingluck stop pussyfooting with these scumbags and enforce the law

Shall we compare track records of the reds and yellows re: mindless violence, chucking buckets of human blood over buildings ( that was soooo gross ) inciting crowds to burn Bangkok, invading hospitals...... you feel ok with that?

Just cant admit they are wrong can you

PATHETIC

Since those actions aN elEction was held where the people of Thailand VOTED and voted in the current government of which these people are trying to topple BECAUSE THEY CANNOT WIN THEIR OWN ELECTION what part of that don't you understand.

The PEOPLE OF THAILAND want this Government which the election showed, and would show again should it go to another election.

THAT IS THE THING you guys and the demonstrators just cant take LOL

A new generation of supporter = an expat red shirts fanboy.

I'm always curious why guests and people on holiday here take extreme sides about political parties which they don't understand and don't concern them.

Question is; where is the PM and the Government? Waiting for the gun smoke to clear?

They must have known it would escalate to this point! Or they really as stupid as the anti-protestors claim?

While it appears an isolated incident in the hole scheme of things, that isolation could well spread overnight and to tomorrow with more lives lost!

When will this country ever grow up?

No doubt both camps are drawing battle plans for December 1st!

...They bring yellow thugs from south thailand. You know the muslims terrorist, as some of you like to label them. And you wonder its turn nasty.

It seems that also, you hate the truth... pretty sure that a lot of your violent hired yellow thugs from south are also muslim, and it seems now that you have a

problem with this!

As I said earlier, I would like to address the original statement you made first, since that was what I questioned. I wish to do this because I would like to determine whether you can have a reasonable and balanced discussion. So, for the third and final time, did you make it up, or do you have some evidence that made you state it as fact earlier on, and something you're 'pretty sure' about now?

Reds are liars, thief’s, and terrorist. ..... you forget this.. or your brain just not big enough to remember..

yes but once again, because of your hate for one guy, you got it completely wrong, as usual.

Let see clearly the fact:

Today trouble, its not the red shirt VS the yellow shirt.

Most of the red shirt are peacefully at home. (except few ones)

Today trouble is your yellow thugs VS a legitimate government. Thats all!

Why you dont get it? This goverment for the 5th time was legitimaly elected by the whole nation, and for the 5th you losetongue.png .

Its seems you are traumatized by the red colors. The red are at home...

ps : i know you hate it, i know it and that make me cumwhistling.gif

It's borderline retarded. Spend millions bussing in "red shirts" as a demonstration of support for the current despots ru(i)nning the show, then allow it all to be massively overshadowed by shooting and killing students from a nearby university who dare oppose your presence.

The red/Thaksin cheerleaders on this forum - you clearly have your work cut out.

Jutaporn threatened violence today and violence has started, either he is a psychic or he is a psycho, I would suggest the latter............

"Red shirt leader to teach Suthep a lesson"

"BANGKOK: -- Red-shirt leader Jatuporn Promphan Saturday warned Ramkhamhaeng students, who gathered inside the Ramkhamaheng 1 campus, against coming to the Rajamangala Stadium."

Its one thing to goad some socially immature uni students to retaliate to provocative acts, then claim the moral high ground by saying they started it...........

"He said the red-shirt people used to fight against 60,000 troops and armoured carriers so they are not afraid of Ramkhamhaeng students."

But its another to bring firearms and grenade launchers, again to another peacefull redshirt protest. But the most disturbing thing of all is the lack of criticism by the other redshirt leaders and the government, making them appear complicit.

just came back from a stroll in that area. The stadium is less than half full now(the picture from above was made long before), but with a kind of party atmosphere. Outside, from Interplace Hotel to intersection where it goes to BiG C the road is full with glass, stones, rocks, iron bars. One has to wade through(about 600m)The gate at the back of the University is damaged. Outside the gate about 150 red shirts with iron bars. Ugly picture. All 7-11s and Family Marts are closed and covered with newspaper from the inside with the staff inside. Considerable damage to property can be seen all around. They also patrol the surrounding Sois. Police isn't in that area and stops at the back-gate of the stadium(about 30 cars with their red headlights on). The streetlights are shut down. Heard these kind of loud fire crackers a couple of times. One I made out came from around the shooting range inside the sport complex. Saw one guard with a broom stick not older than 14 ...

Things can turn bad in the morning hours again I guess. It's very quiet inside the University campus. - Haven't seen anybody.
