Why don't farang women take better care of themselves?

It was actually my Thai girlfriend that asked me this. On a regular basis we see farang women that look like they have just given up. Worn out, poorly fitted clothing, sweat stained pits and backs, little or no makeup, hair just done up in a rubber band and shoes that cost maybe $10 at Chatuchak. Not to mention often overweight. Jut yesterday my girlfriend couldn't believe it….on the BTS, a 30 something white girl, looking worn right out and not even making the effort to put on a bra and everything was visible under a dirty t-shirt. Absolutely disgusting. My neighbour same thing….no bra, saggy tits, fat and basically given up on her appearance at about 40 years old.

Almost every time I see a Thai girl, she has carefully applied makeup, clean, pressed clothing and clean, soft looking hair straight or braided. No sweat, and basically someone that wants to look good given whatever she was given at birth.

Obviously its one's personal business how thy wish to present themselves in public but it does seem odd why so many white women just don't seem to care. Rather sad...

Obviously you can say the same thing about many of the farang men here but often they are not single so maybe they have an excuse as they don't need to attract a mate. I would expect most farang women to be single or their husband playing on the side so if anything, they should be trying their best to look good if they don't want to grow old alone.

It's not a farang thing, as you'll find the same thing in Japan, Korea or China. But if you're talking about Western women then yes, they are nowhere near as vein as their Asian counterparts. You only need to see the amount of beauty ads running on TV and press to know that Thai women take their appearance seriously. I'm guessing farang women prioritise other things in life ahead of their own appearances? Bit of shame, but you can't have everything.
