beau thai
-derailing that is. Unbelievably (except TiT), the first train after the line was closed to fix the frequent derailments, derailed on the way up to Chiang Mai this morning-at 9.55 near Lamphun. It was due in Chiang Mai at 9.30 but that's another story. Maybe instead of spending the 2bn baht on a cable car from Night bazaar, 10km out towards Hang Dong, a better use of some of the cash would be to fix the rail problem-if anyone knows how that is. A 'derailing' cable car would be messy but maybe users will be issued parachutes and/ or ejector seats.
