ED Re-Entry Permit / 90 day Report

Featured Replies

Hi,

My first 90 days on my ED visa will expire this weekend and I think I will be unable to apply for the extension in time as my school did not notify me that I need to apply for a letter form the ministry of Education to take with me (and they said obtaining this letter would take 3 weeks).

So I trying to figure out what my options are?

Should I get a re-entry permit, leave Thailand and comeback to gain 30 days ? (in which time the letter will be ready) OR will this automatically give me 90 more days on re-entry OR will it only permit me to come back for the remaining amount of time on my initial 90 days?

I'm very confused so any help would be really appreciated?

Thanks in advance

A re-entry permit will only give you the remaining amount of time off your initial 90 days.

You will need paperwork from your institution and go and re-apply for a new Ed-visa at a consulate abroad.
