Was not a bad game to be honest. Port had more polish

at the end when it counted though.

You wouldn't be unhappy if you were a Melbourne supporter though.

I did pick Port .

Melbourne though came close and a few behinds in a row were costly late in the game.

Brissie started well..28 points ahead at the end of the first term. Carlton comes back , 6 in a row 2nd quarter....Brissie 2 goals in 2 minutes to take the lead again

Glass out eh? North have kept in Daw so it should even things out. Actually I really like how Daw can kick and how well he can mark, but the last 2 times he has played he is having North play with 17...

I thought Carlton might have some cause for complaint over some dodgy Umpiring calls late in the last quarter.

Yarran not getting the mark and his legs caught, Brissie crumbing and kicking a goal.

Soft penalty to Brown, Brissie kicking the goal...

Some case for review of the goal that looked touched on the goal line?

Anyway, malthouse has had enough time to change some things and his players still do undisciplined things and make basic errors. Comes down to coaching doesn't it?

If you look at the tipsters choice, there's only one 50/50 game,

being Ade/GC.

I can't believe 80% of tipsters think WCE will beat North.

Perhaps they know something I don't. With Glass being ruled

out, I can see this one going either way.

Responding to earlier statements made by Bulldogs president Peter Gordon about Sydney's controversial 9.8 per cent cost of living allowance (COLA), Swans CEO Andrew Ireland expressed dismay when speaking on 3AW radio.

''For Peter Gordon to make those sorts of comments are offensive. He should worry more about running his own club. The fact is he’s effectively saying we’re cheating,'' Ireland said.
