Guys, word on the Soi is that BookMan & ripstanley colluded this

week to discuss the footy tipping.

BookMan brought Chimpy along and ripstanley took his dartboad.

Things must be getting serious.

I have a guy on the inside who sent me this.

Fella's, some more interesting games today and tonight.

Can the mighty WCE keep their form going and beat Essendon,

who have dropped off the pace this past 2 weeks?

Are Gold Coast out of petrol or can they lift against an out of form

Port at Metricon and dash their hope of a top 4 finish?

Can Ade beat the rampaging Richmond at home or will last weeks

heat in Brissie and a short break be too much for them?

Looking forward to a big day of footy.

Great day for footy watching. Even the Swans V St Kilda games holds interest (for me)

My take:

Gold Coast home game but they have looked woeful since Ablett was injured. Playing for top 8, but i think Port will win this.

Adelaide V Richmond. Toss a coin. Adelaide has home ground advantage, but both teams are in great form. Richmond won last week but they made a lot of mistakes.

WCE v Essendon. This is another coin toss. Essendon missing Carlise is not good for them. But Having Jobe back should give them control of the midfield combined with Heppell. Shuey to be tagged hard and lack of ball for WCE from clearances? Tough one to call.

Yep

Agree about GC, think they're out of gas.

Ade over Richmond purely because of the home ground advantage.

WC and Ess IMO is the hardest to pick. I still think we're going in too

top heavy (again) with 3 rucks. Essendon will be relying on their smalls

to kick their goals.

Swans v Saints 1st quarter.

Swans looking awesome 1st quarter across the ground. Buddy with 3.1

Sydney leading

39.7

Kieran jack 14 disposals for the first term

Cunningham looking impressive also.

Could be a major blow out here

EDIT: Posted same time as GS

Kennedy subbed off with a suspected hammy... Hopefully just precautionary and it's not as bad as the commentators are making it.

Interesting also to note, O'Keefe was moaning about not getting a farewell game in the 1sts... Given Kennedy's out for the next couple of weeks and Bird's hurt himself as well, he may just get his wish :P

Also add Butterfingers to that list of being rested... Crunching tackle by Gilbert?

Yep, after the first quarter, I thought Buddy was going to kick 12 (he still might)

and the Swans destroy them.

Really hard 2nd quarter for me to watch. The Saints dropped one back and I

reckon the Swans started to get a bit too cute.

I'm thinking Horse will give them a rocket at half time.

Bud couldn't bag his 10th but a pretty good return at 9.4

Watching the end of the game Joey Kennedy's looking like he's moving pretty well so hoping he'll be back for week 1 of the finals. No need for him to play the last 2 even though it'll cost him the Brownlow but a Premiership would be more important ;)

Nice % booster for the boys...

I picked wce and even thou bombers came home stronger, the eagles were done by the umps.

That push in the back in the last few minutes was costly.

Exciting finish though

Finish was great and that push was no different from when winderlich kicked his goal off the ground.

But really, when is a poke in the eye !!! or two.
