Jingthing
Art school will "steal" his virginity. He will have his first sex with a male friend and then publicly expose how their relationship changes. What do you think about this? I'd have to see it to judge whether it is "art" or not but I suspect that such an event could be a type of art. I know some people will call it porn but I don't think so. More like a special kind of edgy theater, one show only. Even though I enjoy modern art and theater, I wouldn't be going out of my way to attend this particular show. But I'm sure he will fill the room for ONE show. http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/10/25/19-year-old-will-lose-virginity-in-front-of-a-crowd-for-the-sake-of-art/?iid=obnetwork http://thankyouartschoolstole.tumblr.com/
sustento
It's as much 'art' as Tracey Emin's bed.

Jingthing
I don't find the artist "hot" -- there I said it. Is it more like art if you're just not that into him?
sustento
No it's still porn whether you're into him or not. If I were to make a porn film (be VERY grateful that's never likely to happen) I'd expect to get paid for it. I certainly wouldn't do a freebie. Jingthing
I still think this art project is probably not porn. The typical modern Londoner has instant (and often free) online access to XXX rated porn via computer or smart phone in whatever flavor desired. While some people might be aroused by the scene at the art gallery, some people might be aroused at all kinds of non-porn public entertainments, including other art gallery exhibits. The purpose of the show is clearly not the same as a porn show. Edited December 13, 2013 by Jingthing
AyG
But is he really a virgin? Is he lying to us? How does that possibility affect our response to his "art"?
LeCharivari
Not sure how to put this, but is he the brush or the canvas?

If I were to make a porn film (be VERY grateful that's never likely to happen) I'd expect to get paid for it. I certainly wouldn't do a freebie. He very probably does expect to be paid - or, at least, to turn a profit on his otherwise unremarkable "art" which he is selling on e-bay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Contemporary-Orginal-Art-Whoregasm-Clayton-Pettet-/251377130847 ) . He doesn't seem overburdened with gray matter - the name "Whoregasm" is anything but original in the art world, and when he spray painted an ad for his "performance art" (and was arrested for graffiti) he forgot that next year was 2014, and wrote 2013 instead. Maybe he'll finish his act by emulating his fellow Russian performance artist's efforts last week: http://www.theguardian.com/world/video/2013/nov/11/russian-artist-nails-testicles-red-square-cobbles-video or a Japanese artist's last year: http://digitaljournal.com/article/325480 ..... isanbirder
Sheer exhibitionism, like a lot of performance art. If he does it in the name of art, he will get away with it; otherwise, if he does it in the street or inside a building accessible to the public, he'd get arrested for it.

onthemoon
Looks to me like a young exhibitionist found a way to make his dream legal. I wonder about the other guy. For some reason though I have a hard time believing that someone who has never had sex wants to display his first time (during which we are insecure by definition) to the public. Therefore, I tend to agree with some posters that it is doubtful that he is a virgin. But then, people are different and maybe he is.
anon8
If he was a good looking straight guy, takeing it despite his objections, being penetrated, I'd watch that art. But this guy!? No, not art. But theses art school people have to come up with something shocking, everything has already done by other talentless artists, so he found an alley that hadnt been exploited yet. Got to give him credit, he got publicity. Sent from my C6802 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

anon8
Well, he's probably been saving himself for several months now. Very possible,! I know a guy, he didn't practice this 'art' for about 2 years straight, he considered himself a virgin, well, almost. But it wouldn't last! He met this really cool Thai top guy couple of weeks ago in Pattaya, and he lost his virginity again. He said after 2 year break, it felt like first time. But only after reading this thread did he found out he is an artist!
