ROC & Thai Ticket Major

Featured Replies

Back in early November I bought tickets for my son & I online through Thai Ticket Major, for the "Race of Champions" Bangkok event for tonight, we went last year & really enjoyed it.

As the red shirts took over that staduim the event is cancelled.

I was in Bangkok yesterday & popped into one of the Ticket Major outlets in Central for my 2700bht refund, all they did was fill in some refund form with my booking details & girl said it would be sent to her head office for refund, i asked why I couldn't get CC (credit card) refund on the spot, got the usual answer "CANNOT". I said how long before i get my CC refund then, she said maybe 3 months.... What a bloody joke, they take your money online as soon as you book, but 3 months for a refund.... Your guess is as good as mine if i ever actually get a refund?

I have a copy of a received email from Ticket Major saying they will give refunds (English & Thai), & took a copy of that along yesterday.

Please note i paid for this event on my Thai bank CC.

Sorry mate but it sounds like you just need to blow off steam. I sympathise but what you relate is very par for the course in such situations. Who knows, your refund may come sooner than expected - estimates of waiting time are generally generic and designed to cover <deleted>.

Lets's hope your right, & yes I'm not that happy about it. We live in Pattaya so long way to go for nothing, i previously went to Ticket Major office here & they said we had to go to Bkk for refund.

A few years ago i had tickets for "Rolling Stones" Bkk, the concert got cancelled day before, I went into Ticket Major office on that occasion & they gave me refund on the spot.

Hi Dickie,

Could you please post a list of events that you have tickets for.

That way I won't get caught out buying tickets for events that get cancelled. biggrin.png
