Jomtien immigration new year holiday dates

My passport shows the next date for my 90 day reporting as being 4 January 2014, which is not only a Saturday, but is very close to the new year holidays.

Is the immigration office in Jomtien likely to be open on Friday 3^rd of January?

It will be open on the 2nd and 3rd. You could also do it on the 6th which is well within the 7 days late allowed.

Do I remember right, that all government offices will be closed from Saturday Dec 28 to Wednesday Jan 1 ?

You can do it 15 days before up to 7 days after your date. So anytime between 20/12/2013 and 11/1/2014 should be fine.
