Hi all,

I went to the Changwattana office today Monday Jan 16, everything was back to normal. The people waiting was average and I made my one year extension in just under 2 hours. After watching footage on Thai TV the tradesman must've created a World record in restoring the complex after the rally because I expected the Immigration Office to resemble downtown Beirut but instead it was the same as its always been. By the way thanks to those who gave me information in regards to my wifes inability to attend because of a serious physical disability, she made it but it was pains taking. Once again thanks to all.

I was there for a 90 day report today.

Place looked just like normal.

Arrived about 10 in the morning, 80 people ahead of me for the report, I was out just before 11.

Bit concerned about the 2 hours for an extension, usually for me its about 20 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on how may interuptions the officer gets.

I am talking about a 400k in the bank married to a Thai, not a retirement extension with a lump sum or an embassay letter.

Perhaps the OP could enlighten us as to why it took almost 2 hours.

I'm married to a Thai on the 400,000 baht requirement and after 10 previous applications like Ubon Joe I'd settle for a 2 hour wait anytime. When I arrived the queue number was 22 and I had 52. It was very slow to 35 then into swung into action. Anyway job done thanks again.

One thing that slowed the 90 day report was all those paying the late fee. They weren't cutting any slack because of the occupation and move to Lad Phrao.

I was lucky that my report could wait until the 16th. I dreaded the thought of getting to Imperial World.
