webfact
Nong Cartoon's Murderer 'Has Killed 3 More Victims' By Khaosod Online Mr. Nui, the alleged murderer of 6 year old nong CartoonBANGKOK: -- The alleged murderer of nong Cartoon, the 6 year old girl who had gone missing, has claimed he had previously raped and murdered three other girls.Mr. Nui, a homeless man with no registered surname, said in the press conference after his arrest that he had raped "more than ten" girls around the country. Some of them he murdered, Mr. Nui claimed, and some he allowed to survive. He said he cannot control his emotion whenever he encountered a vulnerable child. The case of nong (little sister) Cartoon has been captivating the nation′s attention since 6 December, when Cartoon′s father alerted the police that he had lost the child during a folk music (lookthoong) concert near Bearing BTS Station in Bangkok.Reportedly, he took Cartoon to see the concert, but she soon became sleepy, so he left his daughter at the pick-up truck to sleep and returned to the concert. When he returned at 23.00, he said, he could not found his daughter there.CCTV records from Bearing BTS Stations and nearby 7-Eleven stores showed an unidentified man taking the girl across the road. The images were later shared on the social networks, and posted in every police station across the country, in hope that she would be located. However, on 15 December a skull along with a skeleton, and floral purple short pants with a bar of chocolate in one pocket were found in a secluded wooded area in Bangkok′s Bang Na district. The skull was partly covered with dirt when it was found. Initial investigation found no direct knife-inflicted cut on it, leading to the speculation that the reptile may have dug up the body and torn away the flesh.DNA tests revealed that the clothes belongs to Cartoon police said, but results of the forensic tests on the bones have not yet released to the public.Once nong Cartoon′s father saw the skull, he broke into tears and crouched over it, tearfully saying that he should not have left her alone.According to Cartoon’s father, whose name is withheld per Khaosod′s printing regulations, the chocolate found in the abandoned clothes was given to Cartoon on the day he lost her.Later in the same day, police in Nong Khai province arrested the man believed to be captured on the CCTV footage with the missing girl. The man was alter identified as Mr. Nui, or Tingtang, 32, a homeless man who, police said, has served a previous jail term in Khon Kaen province for charges related to child abuse.Reports say Mr. Nui had been hired by a traveling lookthoong band to help assemble concert stages throughout the country, and he was working at one such site in Nong Khai province when the concert organiser noticed that Mr. Nui resembled the man he has seen in the news. The organiser later called police.Upon the arrest, Mr. Nui confessed to his crime, stating that he saw the girl when he went out to buy beer. He then reportedly took her to the snack shop, and lured her to a secluded place, where he raped her and strangled his victim afterward.Mr. Nui claimed he was not aware that the girl was dead.In his bag, police also found the clothes he allegedly wore on the night of the incident, and female underpants, which he claimed to belong to his girlfriend. As for Mr. Nui′s claim that he had murdered other victims, police reported that there are two unsolved murders in Loey province and one case in Bangkok′s Bang Bon district which could have been committed by Mr. Nui.Mr. Nui has been charged with numerous offences, including murder, abuction, and rape. Further investigation is proceeding.Source: http://www.khaosod.co.th/en/view_newsonline.php?newsid=TVRNNE56SXdNVGs0Tmc9PQ== -- Khaosod English 2013-12-
webfact
CRIMELessons learnt in sad fate of 6-year-old girlPhatinya IamtanThe NationBANGKOK: -- A FORMER CONVICT has confessed to raping and strangling a six-year-old girl in Bangkok earlier this month after she strayed briefly from her father's attention. Police say she was just one of his many victims. The self-confessed serial abuser, now identified only as Nui, is in police detention. On Sunday, police arrested him in Nong Khai, where a popular Mor Lam band had staged a performance. The alleged suspect was tracked down after media, including social media, showed pictures of the suspect walking alongside his latest victim. The pictures came from security cameras. Some members of the audience noticed the suspect's T-shirt and alerted police that it was the type used by crewmen of the Mor Lam band. The girl went missing after she went to a concert with her father on December 6. The father said his daughter fell asleep during the performance. He decided to take her to his friend's pickup truck hoping she could get a proper sleep. He went back to see the concert. On his return to the vehicle, he found his daughter was gone."I was drunk and had a sexual urge," Nui said.According to police, Nui is a repeat offender and has confessed to raping and killing a large number of girls."He said he had raped about 10 girls and killed some of his victims," a senior commander, Pol Maj-General Suebsak Phansura said.Bangkok police chief Camronwit Toopgrajank suspected that Nui might have committed many more crimes. In 2008, Nui was sentenced to a jail term for taking a minor away from guardians. He was released on August 23 last year.Nui's confession has dashed their hopes of finding her alive. In a desolate area on Soi La Salle, a human skull was found on Sunday and DNA tests are ongoing to determine if the remains are those of the missing girl. The Mirror Foundation has warned parents not to leave their children unattended. That sucks when murderers walk free,... and I remember, there is another murderer still walking free, a man who shot his fiancee and her mother in a beauty salon in broad daylight.... what happened to him,... forgotten?????

I was wondering if it was another victim from a previous murder, but the article seems to imply that this girl's short pants were found with the skeleton. Sick, sick person.. Popular Post EricBerg
The father left the 6 years old child sleeping in a pickup truck? He returned 11 pm. Very irresponsible I think. There are sickos and pedos. Enough reason to never let a small kid unattended.
Popular Post jaidam
First step in ensuring this totally avoidable tragedy doesn't happen again is to hang the official that chose to release this beast from prison. Secondly, all beasts should be hung to stop them re-offending. Castrate them first and slowly by all means, but they must die for crimes against children.

But I doubt too many of them go on a rape and murder spree for 15 months after being released. Yes paedophiles get released and are under close supervision.

Popular Post Beetlejuice
The humane thing to do is put this guy down, the same as would be expected in the case of a mad dog. I am not just ranting out of anger but very serious, it`s the common sense way to deal with this problem. Better for him, better for society. That`s my opinion and now it`s up to the judge to decide.
Popular Post Briggsy
Thai police often pick the people with the least status in society, e.g. ex-convicts, with no education or close relatives, and get them to confess to all sorts of crimes. This guy may be guilty of terrible crimes or he may not but I certainly don't believe the police and their claims. For the police this case is all about image management and nothing to do with solving crime.

He decided to take her to his friend's pickup truck hoping she could get a proper sleep. He went back to see the concert. On his return to the vehicle, he found his daughter was gone. Just for a freaking concert,.... he left his child alone at an open back pick up in the middle of the night, watching a concert. Oh well, and that would be a reason to blame his friend for not being there,... I don't try to be mean or anything, but that was just irresponsible to leave your child alone so late at night alone in the dark, in an open pick-up space. You're practically inviting nasty nasty criminals to take away your child... "I was drunk and had a sexual urge," Nui said. And that sick bastard's excuse "Blame the alcohol, because it makes me do unusual things that I didn't know about", and of course I wouldn't be surprised if that guy gets bail from his stage contractor or whomever...

For the police this case is all about image management and nothing to do with solving crime. Total cobblers. The guy has already confessed to his crimes on his own admission, there is no may or could be about it and no disputing the facts that he has committed the most heinous crimes, a child rapist and murderer. It is now known that he has murdered several children, but at the present it is not known exactly how many. The man is a monster, full stop. The police have gone all out in order to catch and apprehend this child murderer, including television and media appeals and have done a fine job in apprehending him so quickly. Whatever sentence the guy received for his original crimes and how soon he was released has nothing to do with the police, but rather the fault of the legal system. Give the police credit and congratulate them when it`s deserved, as now this monster is out of society, on borrowed time and his life (What`s left of it) will be a living hell from now on. Trust me on this one.

catweazle
Humane would be in such instances to let the parents of the victims decide what to do with that pervert. If I were the father to one of the raped and killed little girls, I would assure that "Nui" wouldn't make it into a court room alive. Said should be too, that I would not leave my underage daughter behind alone in our car to watch a concert... I just hope that "Nui" has to face the firing squad. But taking the latest developments in this case and the huge publicity coming with it into account, I fear that police already did offer him a deal to talk about all the other rapes and murders to have the death sentence reduced to life in prison. So all we can do is wish that he will be put to death by some of his inmates after being gang-raped, allowing him to reflect on what he did to all those little children. I also think that what Brit1984 says is right. Whatever reason a person claims made him/her become a pedophile, mass murderer, rapist, etc. - fact is that it is in their head, in their blood, and you can't get it out! I even believe that some of them want it to stop, but they can't help it. True crime books about mass murderers often write that the culprit in the end was kind of relieved to be caught and "happy that it's over now". Some of them get sloppy in the end on purpose, some of them get the impression that they can do whatever they want and will never get caught, making them feel kind of superhuman. So it's better to take such animals down by lethal injection right after their first offense or better, find ways to detect their mental defect before they even get their chance.
